SCIENTIFIC PRESENTATION: 2nd NATIONAL CONFERENCE
“POPCON 2026”
Guidelines for Abstract submission-
- Abstract should not exceed 200 words.
- It should be structured as Title, Introduction, Aim and Objectives, Methodology, Results and Conclusion wherever possible.
- It should be submitted in Microsoft Word document (.docx) format with Font-Times New Roman, 16 (heading) and 14 (body) with single line spacing.
- Authors and co-authors should include their name, designation, email id and mobile number in the same word document.
- E-poster and e-paper can be of following categories: Original Research, Case reports, Case series and Reviews.
Guidelines for Scientific Presentation-
- Presenting author and co-author should be registered delegate in 1st National Conference POPCON 2026.
- Only one co-author will be permitted per presentation.
- Once your e-paper/ e-poster is accepted for presentation, you will receive an email communication bearing the scientific e-poster/ e-paper number.
- Mention the e-poster/ e-paper number without fail in the upper right corner of the first slide of PowerPoint Presentation.
- Time allotted for e-poster is 2 mins and for e-paper is 3 mins followed by 2 min of discussion.
- Both e-poster and e-paper presentations should be prepared in Microsoft PowerPoint.
- E-poster should be prepared in only 1 slide and its orientation should be portrait.
- E-paper should include maximum 10 slides.
- Figures (graphs, tables, photographs, illustrations or diagrams) must have title and legends.
- Both e-poster and e-paper should be submitted in (.pptx) format.

- Abstracts/e-posters/e-papers should be submitted online to-https://popma.in/popcon-2026-poster-presentation/
- Last date for abstract, e-poster/e-paper submission- 15th September, 2026
- The scientific committee of the conference will have the sole discretion to accept/ decline any e-poster or e-paper and this shall be communicated to the lead presenter.
- Owing to time constrains of the online conference, only top 40 e-posters and 40 e-papers selected by the scientific committee will be allowed to be presented during the conference. The selection process will be impartial, based on quality of the presentation.
- All authors and co-authors will be presented certificates for their scientific presentations. Individual attendance is mandatory to obtain certificates.
- Winners will receive cash prizes.

Art-O-Path Competition
Art-O-Path Competition
- Open to BDS undergraduate and MDS Post graduate students.
- Team of maximum 2-4 members.
- Theme: Future Ready Oral Pathology / Oral Pathology: The Backbone to Diagnosis
- The concept should be original and creative.
- No copied or previously submitted projects allowed.
POPCON 2026 – Reel Submission Call
Participants must design a working 3D model that clearly demonstrates a concept or process. The reel should feature a thorough scientific explanation of the model’s functioning. Ensure good lighting, clear audio, and a concise narration to highlight creativity and clarity.
- Duration: Less than or maximum 60 seconds: (10 seconds to show steps in preparing model + 50 seconds for explanation and functioning of model)
- Identification: Only POPCON 2026 registration number + year of BDS/MDS
- Caption: Add a creative title to your model
- Format: Submit in MP4
- Deadline: Last date of submission -10th September 2026 (late entries not accepted)
- Rules: Plagiarism will lead to disqualification; judges’ decision is final
- Note: Organizers may use reels for educational purposes
- Let your model speak louder than words—make it creative, clear, and impactful!

- All participants will receive certificates at last. Due to time constraint, only the top 40 reels—selected by the Scientific Committee based on quality—will be showcased in the reel category during the conference.
